Accent fight

"Your accent is kinda cute. Not like mine."
I look up from the book I'm reading to see Rogue looking at me semi-wistfully. I'm perched on the back of a chair; she's sitting on her bed. "You're not coming on to me, are you?" I ask playfully, tail waving in a vaguely 'naughty-naughty' motion. "Because boyfriend or not, Bobby would kill me, and I'm quite fond of living."
"Augh, no I'm not hittin' on ya!"
"Good," I grin at her, "because I was thinking that your accent was kind of cute."
I see her rise to the bait and grin wider. She lets out an 'oooh' of irritation, picks up the pillow, and hurls it at me. I, of course, jump to safety and appear on Kitty's bed. I make a face at her, and her irritated look suddenly changes. The pillow that landed on the chair suddenly hurls itself at me, and Kitty's pillow attacks me from the other side. It's a trick! Rogue was 'talking ' to Jean earlier, and I jumped into an ambush! I crumple under the fluffy onslaught.
"Augh! I'm sorry, I was just teasing! Ack! No more, I beg of you! Forgive me, bitteshön!"
Th pillows cease their attack, and I look up cautiously. Rogue is all but collapsed on her bed, laughing helplessly. Good. If there's one thing I learned in the Circus, it's how to be entertaining. To my side, tho, is a small stuffed animal of Kitty's. My body blocks it from Rogue's sight. I quickly wrap my tail around it and give it a quick flip.
Rogue's so busy laughing, she doesn't even see it coming. It hits her right in the face, and she goes down in a heap of giggles. Score!
