I thought I could get away with only one AU. I really should have known better. I'll list them in order from most to least canon, designated by whose POV they're written from.
ARTIE
Mostly canon up until the very last episode, the only direct change to the timeline is that the apple scene takes place a few years pre-series so the events of the series finale veer left into AU. Everything else is extrapolation of canon events and off-camera details. Fair warning, there's a good bit of Artie/James paleporn because seriously, if you can't see how much those two meant to each other, you need to go back and re-watch those eps. Put on slash goggles if you have to.
Ferrets
Pornography Addiction
Bagging the Upholstery Brush
The Apple
Echoes of James
Talking With Vanessa
Apologizing to Pete and Myka
After Leena
Apologizing to Helena
Introducing James
9001% DONE
New Agents
Time Travelers
Bonus: Timeline weirdness
LILY
I'm not even sure I should try to explain or justify why this exists. Pretty sure I can't without it turning into a dissertation. Connecting dots and extrapolating is something I do as naturally as breathing, and the further I got into the series the more continuity errors started to leap out and attach themselves to my head, gnawing and begging for correction.
It should be pretty clear at this point that situations like this are my Kryptonite.
Fix artifact
Introductions and chaos
Let the plotting commence
Fixing the relationship canon forgot
Here there be canon divergence
It does actually live on his desk
Fixing goes both ways
Switches are my switches
Baby steps
Sunshine and puppies
Old friends
The clock still gets him later
Know thyself
Bypassing the entire mess
Dis gon b gud
I'm trouble, I disturb my town
The Land of Endless Wonder and Sometimes Death
Sittin' in the middle of nowhere
New Regent orientation goes awry
The start of a beautiful tradition
It's not a party without cake
Silly old bear
CLAUDIA
This one's just pure Artie-and-Claudia fluffiness based around one simple change: what if, after Joshua vanished, Artie adopted Claudia? Well, okay, it hit my watch-events-unfold-with-slight-differences alternate timeline kink pretty hard. But it's satisfying, seeing a Claudia who's grounded in who she is and what her place is instead of having to fight to figure herself out. Things go wildly AU at the end of season four.
The Thing That Will Bite
Throw on your brake lights, we're in the city of wonder
MacPherson is Reynolds
Appointment intercepted
Todd-o-rama
Dreams of war, dreams of liars
By devil-child hand or else by none
Reconciliation and exposition
Para-freaking-celsus
Hot metal lights in your bright blue eyes
